I've contemplated it, but I just can't get myself to do it.

Yes but would consider in two different ways:
1 to have total space, quiet and peace Imagine on a small island perhaps in Stockholm archipelago
2 to explore a foreign community by not being with family or friends would be easier to do so.

It's a bit expensive. All the best offers seems to have conditions attached, such as 'two sharing' or 'four sharing'. Is it me, or do all holiday companies suck?
Probably the best way to do so is to backpack the Lonely Planet way, if you have the time and the resilience. I tried it a decade ago and it was fantastic.

Yes If I had to, I usually do.
Back to Bali - lovely island and people.
North East Thailand and Laos. "Tied to the Thais", lovely people!
Nice is nice - particularly the old town.
Perhaps Vietnam before I get too decrepit !
Definitely not the USA until they get rid of the Patriot Act and all the border hassles.

I don't know how weird this will look but i like to go on holiday alone. if i am on holiday i like to be selfish and do as i please, in no other time of the year i can not afford that luxury for i have tons of responsibilites and a job that rapidly kills me.

I did, i went to Lesvos Island in Greece and stayed at Lesvos Inn hotel right on the beach. I had a good time and the Locals loved me.

I took myself on holiday once for a whole month to Argentina!
It was grrrreat!! Loved every minute of it - was a bit crazy there though!

nah i would be boring no body to share it with me and a Friend are going to Spain this year and really looking forward to it the best bit the men are getting left behind no don't want to do that or the heavy sighs
