just flip the two colors around and you will be FINE :D
put the dark color very close to your lash line and the ligther color towards your eyebrow and blend upward those two colors well
the dark purple color will make your eyes POP and the light pink color will highlight and make the focus on your eyes

You can do it either way! The dark color on the lids is more dramatic and looks really good at night and on rainy days(for some reason). I do the same thing with browns. Most of the time I use a nutmeg brown and a taupe or champaigne color; but sometimes I take a darker brown and color right against my lashes from the outside corner of my eye to almost the center. It looks really sexy.

To create a younger, fresher look, your supposed to only apply eyeshadow below the crease. That's what I do and it looks very sophisticated, or fun depending on the color. But if you do apply the shadow to both parts of your eye, your supposed to do the dark part below you crease and a lighter part to the top. So you should apply the purple to your eyelid and the pink above your crease where ever you put it.

yeah thats kind of wrong but its okay!...
1. you can put the lighter shade all over your lid then put the dark along your eyelid crease
or
2. put the dark color along your lashline sort of like an eyeliner then blend it further up and use a shimmery pink to high light the inner corners of your eyes and along your browline

um, well that is kinda wrong because it IS supposed to be the other way around, but don't worry- i've done some reall wierd makeup on myself too!! :)
try these steps:
1) use a good eyeshadow brush to apply darker shades of eyeshadow to ur eyes such as dark brown, bronze, forest green, purple (i love this color), black (grayish black- not to heavy of a black), or navy blue.
2) using a blending brush, apply a lighter shade to your crease and blend really well--try colors such as (light) green, pale lilac (lavender), shimmery yellow, pale yellow, any pale color, even pink....
best of luck....ooo, you can also search the net (google) and type it-makuep tips or eyeshadow application tips, eyeshadow tips, eyeshadow colors to match eyes, how to apply eyeshadow, how to apply makeup.....you'll find a lot of cool stuff! that's where i learned how to do my makeup- on the internet! lol.....and youtube too.....they have great videos about makeup tips and applications....
good luck! :)

It's best to make colours darker as they go towards your eye lid so light bink near eye brow and dark purple on lid. Check out this website it has a video showing how to put three eyeshadows on but it will probs still help.

relies upon on the look your going for, in case you decide on your eyeliner to stand out (which in many situations could make eyes look smaller) then you definately could desire to notice it after your eyeshadow. Doing it in opposite you could make the liner look extra diffused/mixture it wherein comprise your eyeshadow (in keeping with hues). As to your eyes looking smaller countless factors bypass into the suitable eye lining. Thickness, shade being needed. Watch the thickness on the indoors corners of your eye, this section could desire to be skinny and alongside the lash line turning out to be in thickness in the direction of the outer corners. Your backside lash line could desire to be quiet skinny however the comparable thought.
