I think that there could be other life forms, but where? Heck if I know. With the size the universe it is hard to belive we are the only life form out here.
I love that movie

Never saw that movie. I think there probably is life out there. Its been there, its there now, it will continue to be there. The universe is so vast, its gotta be out there someplace. I would like to believe in extra terrestrial visitors to this planet, I really would, but I have seen no persuasive evidence that this has happened. It would be the most amazing meeting ever if this should happen. A lot has to be basically perfect for this to happen, however. The problem of beating the speed of light will have to have been solved, first. Second, whoever they are will have to be at about the same level of development as us--as little as 100 years behind or ahead of us and there seems like a serious possibility of no ability to relate, at all.

If you look at the complexity of life, it actually is silly to think their are extra terrestrials.

I've run the numbers using all the mass in the universe, reacting 1 million times a second, for 100 billion years to create a minimum amino acid chain for life.

The numbers are infinitesimally small that it would occur. We're here, yes, but to happen twice is hard to believe (unless they are directly related to us).

Given the vastness of the universe it is mathematically probable that there are planets that sustain intelligent life. It is even likely that some of them can travel through space and reach us.
What is not at all probable is that they would find us, a needle and an endless number of haystacks, take us aboard there space vessel, and probe our rectums.

Odds are that there are many life forms in the universe.
However, because of the distances involved, and the laws of physics, none would be able to reach earth.

Extraterestials should exist but not in our part. As probable is their existance due to the vastness of the universe same as impoprobable for their existence on earth due to the vastness of the universe.

Yes, but they are most likely just bacteria on a far off planet rather than intelligent creatures who fly ships.

Statistically, it is extremely improbable that extra-terrestrials do not exist.

Trillions (1,000,000,000,000,000s) of stars. There has to be life elsewhere.

The thought that we are the only planet with life on is a very depressing thought. I hope there is more out there.
