Sylvia Brown has a great book out called "How to Contact Your Spirit Guide". The book comes with a CD that you play while you are sleeping. I read the book and played the CD while I slept- I was able to contact one of my spirit guides.

Firstly find to whom of your ancetors you like/by character also , understand your life mission and be in harmony with it and you will receive your spirit guides signs.
