I live in Corby and i was astonished at the news this week. I don't understand why the government thinks this town is not ethnically diverse enough ( or white enough should i say). There has been a massive influx of Poles and Czechs since 2004, prior to this the town had a large number of Croats an Serbs in the late 90's etc. and the town was founded by Scots and Irish immigrants looking to work in the steel mills. I'm sorry but that is diversity, but New Labour thinks that diversity starts and stops with the colour of ones skin. A very sad day in 'Multi-cultural Britain'!

It isn't actually a sacking offence, its just that the prison service have decided to move their offices from there for those reasons. And don't think I'm defending them because I can't believe they can get away with what they said. Like you say, the other way round it would be a completely different situation

With the evil and corrupt Government in this country, now any hard working white Englishman is responsible for, and guilty of everything. If however you are a darker shade of pale you cannot do wrong. Strange when you consider we are Anglo-saxon race in an Anglo-saxon country. Thats a result of the likes of Blair and his fat ugly wife.

the reason's given for moving jobs from Corby to Leicester, were because of the large Ethnic mix in Leicester compared to Corby. While this decision was made to increase the diversity of the prison service,it does nothing but drive people into the hands of the BNP,they must love it.

Doesn't surprise me. Round here in South Wales you can't get a job unless you're a Pole. Being Welsh seems to make you unemployable to Welsh employers. Nice eh?!

Being English in England does not count for anything now , we seem to accept anything that is told to us. The truth is that we are now second class citzens in our own country , and what is worse is that there is nothing we can do about it

Are you suggesting that to be white and British is becoming a negative issue because of the influx and power of minorities? Welcome to America!
