Vengesarkar is playing the zonal card. It was foolish for the chief selector to issue such a statement (As a matter of fact he has been issuing such statements from time to time). I could make out that he has certain players on his hatred list. They are: Sehwag, Irfan Pathan, Dravid, VVS Laxman and Kumble). He is discussing board room discussions in public. He sent back Irfan from SA series. Insulted him after selecting for the WC. Is he a physician who can judge the fitness of Irfan in Ahmedabad. Having gone over there and found that Irfan was bowling well below his normal speed (Bowled at < 120 km/h), he cleared him. He is playing a tormenting game against Dravid. If a captain speaks his mind for a certain player in a board room meeting, what is the fun of making it public. This has demoralised the entire team. What Vengesarkar wishes, Indian win or loss. Such remarks would fetch him more err than praise. Is he trying prove himself honest? He is just rubbish to have opted for Jafar for ODI. Instead he could have sent Rohit Shrama if at all he wanted a Mumbai player.

Vengesarakar is a negative energy for Indian Cricket. He should be done away with straightaway. In no case he should be sent to West Indies and take part in any of the Team Management meetings. He has demolished all his credentials as a fine batsman.

Sehwag is particular , basically because of the fact he didnt carry out upto the mark in first 2 checks doesnt propose he could be sidelined completely ~ He accomplished fairly ok in the final try sequence against england , as his scores propose: 117, 25 (ahmedabad) 30, 9 (mumbai) 23, 40 9 (kolkata) barring the duck at nagpur ofcourse :P fairly an experienced batsman who tackles hearth with hearth on energetic pitches would have been a clever gamble . The indian team would pick some "rapid" bring about SA situations, because of the fact its complicated to stick around defensively available as we've seen communities getting out affordably in many cases in previous few years in SA~ As we've a good center order ~ pujara, sachin, kohli and to be honest dhoni additionally , as he's powerful at stabilizing the Indian hotels. in the later area. So i'd %. Sehwag for beneficial. the different opener would have been Vijay , yet as consistent with the present situation Shikhar cant be dropped so i'm no longer too beneficial of Sehwag's opportunities anymore. edit: "He hasn't scored a century away considering the fact that 5 years. " so what ! dhoni has under no circumstances scored a century away ~

you're talking about sehwag being depressed ?? he is lucky to be even included in the team where he didnt even deserved a place in the side considering he has an horrible form since april 2005
when u r a pro cricketer, depression and morally down dont matter, cuz when u play for ur country u r already in under pressure to perform and make your country proud, if i were the captian i would never had included sehwag in the team, he is useless rite now

yes sehwag will definetly be depressed and so is the BCCI on his comments.he is absolutely wrong.he doesnt have the rights to abuse anyone nor put the blame on DRAVID by telling that it was because of his insistence that sehwag is included in the squad.sehwag is included because of his pure talent and not in terms of anyone.it is absolutely rubbish on dilip vengsarkars part.

it was necessary 4 dilip to issue statements on sehwag as he is lately in no form n i think there r numerous talent in this team to replace him.
So i would like sehwag to face the same consequence which ganguly faced,so th he can return to domestic cricket and learn more.
I dont think sehwag would be depressed as critics can make a player perfect like we saw ganguly who has retufned to the indian team

Yes. This type of Statements are unwarranted. This is nothing but creating record in case Shewag fails to score. This statement of Vengsarkar does not appear to be a responsible one.

I was surprised to see the news and how colonel disclosed such a thing in an interview. Since the Indian team is in West Indies this kind of statement is unnecessary and it will also affect the Indian Team psychologically. So we will give our full support to our Team members and we will wish them all the best.

sehwag is out of form, Dravid has done foul play and partiality in recommending sehwag, this will reflect on team leading to bad performance, loss likely to occur will never be compansated. in case sehwag plays bad then Dravid MUST be given punishment.

No Dilip shouldn't have made such statements & keeping his seniority in mind, he should know it's implications.
