Yes, I was very offended that she used that word yet I am not surprised. Ann Coulter uses shocking words since that is the only way she will get any attention. People know that she is not relevant nor does she make one ounce of sense.
When I listened to the sound bite, I really don't think she got a resounding clapping. I want to believe that the other side was as shocked at the remark as the rest of the world is. I hope it will get her to shut up yet I am sure it wont do a bit of good.

look. Ann Coulter is demagogue, who plays on the conservative fears and mistrusts if society to get her way. this is how she gets her way
the real question is
who is giving Coulter the spotlight so she can voice her idiotic, ignorant opinions to the world?
and the answer is FOX news, they were never a respectable news station until recently and they spend valuable air time letting her blabber about whatever she wants. when she doesn't even no anything about anything, she's just a regular shmoe like the rest of us. She doesn't have any privileged information. SHe once said everything in Iraq is going 'swimmingly' (on FOX news), it is clearly not
she is nothing with out FOX news.
no other news station in the world has ever let ANn Coulter speak.

Appalled? No. It is very much in character for her to insult someone very offensively, and then try to play it off as a joke. Nothing that she could say would surprise me in the least.
I figure that somewhere down the line, people are going to understand her for the bigoted idiot I feel she is. I really thought it would be after she insulted the 9-11 widows, but like the trolls here on the LGBT forum, she keeps coming back, spouting her hate and her idiocy!

Yeah, she needs to get her @ss kicked. If anyone knows that she has an account (I have no clue), bring her here so she can see what people think about her. Lock her up in the mental hospital for rehab--nobody is naturally that hateful!

I am consistently appalled by her comments. I don't know where such hate and bitterness comes from, though something tells me much of it is for show. We can just hope that what goes around comes around I guess.

No, she's been at it so long I think most people are immune to the rubbish she spews. And sensible people recognize her for what she is. Those that still think she's credible are so warped that nothing will change their minds anyway.
