its the people that live in them make them that state.
they get the houses in such states that they have to be pulled down,so the council builds them new ones,is that true?seems like it to me.

Not all council tenants neglect their home..In my area the council are responsible for maintaining their own premises and the occupants resposible for decorating and garden care..Some people have to wait a very long time for the council to keep their side of the bargain..

The council make enough money in its life time to warrant a complete re-build and you should not tar everyone with the same brush
My friend had to go into a council flat and it was an awful state, it was dangerous for her and her daughter and the council refused to repair it, they are so tight with what they will do

Iv lived in council house for 20 yrs and from my experience they do squatt. Yes it is true that they do change certain things like they put radiaters in all the councill houses about 10yrs ago in my area. But if there is specific problems in your own house like broken window, flood, broken wall then they never come to fix it despite you paying rent. So it better not to stay in council estates. Also theres generally dumb, uneducated thugs with no manners, curtosy and bimbos which tend to live in these areas

Well, you can always tell a council house just by looking at it, they use cheap materials, also the occupents don't always care about their house so maybe a combination of both.
