I kinda do what the first lady said. Only on my lazy days of wanting to watch sappy movies all day long, I clean during commercials. You can get alot done in that time. Even the dishes. It may take a couple of times, but before you know it, they are done. You can sweep and pick up alot too. Start laundry. Switch laundry and then fold. Whatever you need to do. Just try it sometime. You really don't think about it because your just hurrying to get back to your movie. Hope this helps.

here´s what I do , I choose a room to clean , I set my alarm clock for 15 min´s and see how much I can get done in that time. 15 min,s is not a lot when you think about but you will be surprised just how much you can do in that time, Also I don´t take thing´s back to there rightful homes until I have finished I leave them outside the room I´m in , So Start your clock & see how much you can do . remember after the 15 min´s you decide to stop then do so. Reward yourself with 1/2 hr break , then do the same again .

For me, it rather is a splash of each and every of the justifications you listed. turning out to be up, my mom could panic while my grandma got here to visit and could attempt and make valuable each and everything replaced into spotless because of the fact my grandma could bypass around checking for dusty/airborne dirt and dirt spots everywhere and if she got here upon one i could pay attention the lecture how filthy we are and no one likes those with a grimy domicile. So from that, that replaced into style of burned in m y thoughts so while my husband and myself have enterprise I do get panicky hoping the home is sparkling adequate because of the fact i do no longer decide for people to be disgusted with me. I do have self assurance i'm extremely OCD because of the fact i bypass as a good distance and make valuable the area mats on the table isn't crooked and spaced calmly aside to creating valuable there are no longer any cobwebs in any corners. I do sparkling on a universal foundation and now and back no longer understanding i'm because of the fact i'm used to it and that i do locate it relaxing. I consistently have a good feeling and a feeling of feat when I sparkling something.

If cleaning the whole house seems overwhelming, start with one room at a time. Go from room to room and do as many rooms as you have time for. Do not go onto another room until the one is done. This way you will feel like you have accomplished something.

Get a maid or clean a room a day. Don't let it pile up and you won't feel overwhelmed.

I find that putting on a tv show about decorating or cleaning, such as clean sweep, etc, helps motivate me.

I have a slight case of the cleaning disease (OCD to some) so I never need the motivation...hmm...about you reward yourself with takeout or a bottle of wine or something if you finish it all??
