I saw on the news that this man made his two sons ages 2 and 5 smoke pot. Their house was raided and the cops found the tapes and now they're in foster care. Why are some people so stupid?

Certainly a lack of morals. You would be surprised at how many people think that it's funny to do things like that to children. You also have antisocial people with absolutely no conscience whatsoever. It's becoming an every day thing to turn on the news and hear about some parent abusing their children. What's scary is that if these kids do make it, what kind of parenting skills will they have when they become parents? Kind of makes me think that spay/neuter should be used on the parents, too. The mother had to have known what was going on, unless she wasn't in the home herself.

The story I saw and read about was about a 17 year old teaching his two nephews (2 and 5 years old) to smoke pot. You have your facts wrong.
Nonetheless this was child abuse in my opinion, Sadly this sort of thing probably goes on more than we know.

Because the father is a loser and has no buisness being around the kids, so hopefully when and if mom ever gets the boys back she keep them away from dad and their uncle.

There was this family in the town next to where I grew up, The Greens, that would shoot their children up with heroin. Nothing surprises me.
