because the honor system doesnt work, thats been proven. so many women dont know their rights and dont know how to pull rank on the caseworkers... by writing their states Regional FEDERAL Child Support Office and Attorney General, asking them what they are doing about their deadbeat.

Maybe you should look at the individual's situation first before judging; (to the answerers)
The man may only be able to pay a part of it, have gotten re-married and is poor, works, but doesn't make a lot of money. Some ex-wives lie and have gotten assistance while they were still married and now he owes more. Wants to be in the children's lives but exes want to make things difficult for no reason.

Maybe they want nothing to do with their children. If they never wanted the child, they probably feel that its a man's choice on whether they want to support their children. Hey women have the right to chose whether they want to have a child are not, maybe they want that same option. Just a thought.

i would like to know that too! my ex- husband owes 20,000 as of right now and that is justy my 2 kids,he has 2 more he does not pay for either!! the ones that don't pay are just peices of sh**!!
