My sister is realy skinny and fit and im expected to be just like her whitch i hete!!She gets everything!!Im not fat but i need to lose a bit of weight!!does anyone know anything i could do like online sites,books or anything??

My sister has always been skinny, and I've always wanted to lose a bit of weight, always a competition between us over everything, i have 2 brothers & 2 sisters but for some reason we just competed about everything.
Now as adults we have been more like best friends for many years, we talk most days and support each other through everything.

i have always had the same problem and have struggled with it for years but i have finally found a diet that works for me
star every meal with a broth based soup they are low in calories and fill you up then eat the good part of your meal first the veg then the meat then the carbs in that order you will eat less also use a smaller plate for portion control this is not a quick fix but by eating like this and adding a little exercise like going up and down the stairs or a 30min walk 3 times a week the weight ill slowly and surly come off

hi,
ok i hate reading it bores the life out of me but i have recently read 3 books by a guy called jason vale, (the juice master) now before you think yea yea just another diet book, DONT
these books are unbelievable, especially the one that tells you all the facts about diets like doctor atkins and how much harm they do to your body, honestly you have to get these books, all about juicing your veg and fruit, eating your food properly, really is a massive eye opener!!

the three i got are

jason vale slim for life
jason vale the juice master

this guy used to extremely over weight, smoked and drank excesiveley, had psoriasis and other skin conditions, im not gay but i must admit now the guy looks in top form.

why should you be like her? ok your sisters...but 2 completely different people. You are a individual with your own style, and personality. Dpont go on any silly diets, just eat 3 square healthy meals a day, if you get hungry between meals, have some fruit, but most important...drink plenty of water.
Be happy with who you are.

Hiya, You are an individual, and special you are not your sister, don't be pressurised into loosing weight. If you really want yourself to loose weight (and it must be your choice) just go on a low fat diet, i bet you are quite slim really Good Luck.

You don't have to be like your sister just be your self!
or if you want to loose weight you can just go on a diet and start eating low fat foods! i am skinny but sometimes i want to be a little bit more fat like my sister but i now realized to just be myself!

Who expects you to be like your sister?
If its others outside the family, then thats their problem. If its your family, then they should stop NOW! You are not your sister, you are your own unique person. You were born to be who you are. Love in a family is about accpeting love, not expecting love.
Work on increasing your own self esteem and work on who you are!

you should not feel pressured to be skinny,
but if you want to lose weight try 500 cal less a day than you normally eat (put all meals on a small plate instead of a large one so you eat less) and cardio 3-5 times a week.
weight lifting every second day can help too.
