well...it would be pretty arrogant to believe that in all the cosmos we are the only life out there.....

There is a chance because I mean how would we be the only life form in the CONTANTLY expanding galaxy. There are other planets that look exactly like us and if we were made by God there could be another God out there somewhere that created life forms like us. And if you dont belive God created us than how is it that we were the only planet that has a life form and can breathe and live life as we know it. There could be a whole other solar system out there with a sun and are in the same place that we are and can have other life forms!
So I think that it is possible that there are other life forms and are wondering about us right now....

That would be cool if there were life forms on other planets. However, I'm not so sure there might be life forms. I mean, the first three planets (Mercury, Venus, and Mars) are rock-type planets while the other 4 planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune) are gas planets. How do you expect a life form to be able to walk on a gas planet. Who knows, some day we might find that answer out.

It's a hard concept to grasp, but the universe goes on forever, there's no end to it - and it's expanding currently. It seems really hard to believe that Earth would be the only planet in an infinite space that has life...but we have no idea if there is life anywhere else. There are minor plans to start checking all the planets and their moons in our solar system. It's hard enough just to explore our own solar system, let alone the entire universe. Basically, there's got to be something else out there.

Although we have never found life on other planets, think about the size of the Universe. There are many planets revolving around a star. There are billions of stars in a galaxy. There are billions of galaxies in a supercluster (a few less in a normal cluster), and billions of superclusters in the Great Wall, which is only a segment of a large wall, which is in turn part of a larger, massive hunk of matter, and there are many of those which make up the Universe. There are also many universes in a Multiverse, and there are in turn many Multiverses in a Level 2 Multiverse. Then there are also alternate dimensions, etc.
I suppose somewhere out there there would would be some life besides our puny little planet.

The Dropa is a tribe in China that apparently cannot be genetically linked to any of the races on earth. This is the most convincing biological evidence.
Maya and other civilizations left drawings that clearly detail visitors wearing masks with breathing apparatus, and current African tribes claim to have continued contact with alien races.
There are even strange 'creatures' in our atmosphere called sky serpents, which have not been studied yet!
Considering that we have not discovered everything on this planet, and that there are probably billions of planets in the universe (and maybe billions of other universes) it is a sure thing. There is probably as much evidence for aliens as anything else you haven't witnessed first hand!

It depends on the source of your information. Most people and books nowadays want to believe that there is in fact life on other planets. There are 2 reasons for that:
1) As humans, we tend to like believing in the supernatural, such as aliens.
2)There may have been some proof of life on other planets but it could be fabricated because of the strength of reason 1.
Really, there are a few things science cannot explain and these things have been linked to other forms of life but it all depends on your way of thinking. My personal opinion is that it would be unnatural for Earth to contain the only source of life, after knowing about the many other planets, their suns, other galactic matter...etc.

Consider this:
There are so many stars out there (Suns). There has to be life where theres energy, there has to be a planet around the same distance from the sun to support life in some sort.
