It takes 1½ days for 1½ chooks lay 1½ eggs.

Therefore, in 3 days, 1½ chooks lay 3 eggs.
Given 5 days, the same 1½ chooks would lay 5 eggs.

Double chooks = double eggs:
|--: Given 5 days, 3 chooks will lay 10 eggs.

If there's a trick to the second question, I'm not seeing it.
(It's not clear whether "the chooks" means 3 or 1½, though):
|--: In 15 days, 3 chooks lay 30 eggs.
|--: In 15 days, 1½ chooks lay 15 eggs.

Presumably, once the eggs have been laid, there is no reason they can't sit around for many days before being collected.
If there are 3 chooks, a person can collect their 10 eggs after 5 days and can collect their 30 eggs after 15 days.
If there are 1½ chooks, a person can collect their 5 eggs after 5 days and can collect their 15 eggs after 15 days.

When your bosses ask you to do actual work, tell them you are still working on the "chook" problem, and that you will get back to them later.

If 1.5 chooks lay 1.5 eggs in1.5 days, 3 chooks lay 3 eggs in 1.5 days, or 1 egg in half a day, or 2 eggs a day. 10 eggs should be waiting after 5 days. There may be some partial eggs. There should be 30 eggs after 15 days. With all the partial eggs, I would suggest scrambled!

I'm guessing half a chook cant lay an egg, so the 1 1/2 eggs was laid by the one chook.

Therefore in 5 days, 3 chooks would lay 5*3*1.5 eggs = 22.5 eggs - thus the person would collect 22 eggs.

After 15 days of unmolested egg laying, there would be 15*3*1.5 eggs = 67.5 eggs - thus he could collect 67 eggs.

3 chooks can lay 15 eggs in five days, and the collector can collect 45 eggs total in 15 days (of course, every five days the collector can only collect 15 eggs, so technically, after 15 days the collector will only collect 15--he will already have collected 30)..
