I'm still having problems with British gas and Energywatch and I need it sorting out. Its been going on for a year now. I also need someone who will do it on a no win no fee basis.

Solicitors who do no win no fee have to make their money somehow. They usually deal with claims which involve more money than this would. Remember they usually charge £100 an hour for their time, is your claim suficient to justify this sort of sum being deducted from any compensation you get? This sort of thing could involve many hours work.

Your best free source of advice would be the local citizens advice bureau and trading standards office. They would probably be able to sort it and if they cannot they would know of a good solicitor.

When trading standards get involved large companies usually get worried and sort things out.

Go to 'solicitors online' and type in your area and details. Its not always up to date though so you need to phone to check they still do free clinics etc.
