What we call snuff in the UK is ground tobacco(it can be flovoured, like menthol or fruit or plain), it is gently sniffed so that it hits the mucosa membrane in the LOWER part of the nose, not the sinuses or the back of your throat. Snuff is enjoying an increase in usage because of the smoking ban. It is also much,much safer than smoking and gives nearly the same nicotine levels, it is also very cheap as it only attracts v.a.t
A typical small tin (enough for a week) is about £1.
I recommend it for those who already smoke, and want to smoke-less, ha ha.

Its ground tobacco thats snuffed into the nose. Its a stimulant, and a bit addictive just like normal cigarettes. Though is really screws up your teeth and gums colour

tobacco dust it is used just like chewing tobacco except you just let it rest between your gums and teeth. very basty habit, and yes it is addictive.
