You probably know that the origin of the charming name Natalie comes from the Latin for "born at Christmas".
In France, and Germany it is often spelled with an h: Nathalie.
In countries like Italy, Spain, Roumania, Poland, eastern European countries and Russia it is Natalia.
However these days some parents no longer want to stick to traditional spellings so they choose different ones just because they want something more distictive or original for their daughter.
One of my friends is called Natalina, which in fact is an Italian endearing version of the same name.

pretty much as many as imaginable. there are no "rules" or restrictions on parents' choice of spelling in the naming of their newborns. i've seen parents spell "brian" -- "bryon," "brien," "bryen," etc..
natalie. natali, nataly. nateli, natyly. natilee, natiley, nattale,... etc.
