i switched from the pill to the ring this month. The only problem is this month i have also had surgery that put me on antibiotics for a week, and antibiotics make any kind of hormonal birth control less effective. I should be taking the ring out (and starting my period) in one week but it already started today (i'm assuming because of the antibiotics)

SO! should i take out the ring that i have in today? or should i wait until when it would regularly come out? should i wait to start my new ring until this period is over or start a new one today?

thanks for reading

Wait until it's time to take it out. Taking it now will only further compromise your protection. What you are experiencing is called break through bleeding. It's a common side effect when starting a new form of birth control especially when switching to a lower dose and the ring is lowest dose.

No, that's fantastic! that's in simple terms going to alter your cycle time, and that's no huge deal. you have some recognizing (uncommon yet time-honored), it fairly is okay!! in simple terms proceed to exist them as directed. If for some reason, you do not have a era on the tip of this p.c.., that continues to be ok! actual everyone's physique responds in yet otherwise to hormones. in simple terms start up with the hot p.c.., while this one is accomplished. And with the help of the 2d month, each and every little thing could desire to start to alter!

Just use the ring as it is normally used. If you need, use extra protection.
