my friend gave me videos he got off the net on an external hard drive but I can't seem to play it ,but he can. so i did an upgrade search on real player but it just gave me the following:- Content Type(s): ICM.XVID ?
how can i run the videos.
the HD has more than enough space on it.
their format is AVI.

Try AFreeCodecVT It will tell you what codec you need to play a file and helps you download them.

you probably haven't got the right codecs - download the latest pack from

www.free-codecs.com

try out VLC player its a cool player which can play almost everything.
