I'm a school bus driver, and a couple of things com to mind.
First, you should not standing a foot away from the street. A school bus should stop, but you are vulnerable to being hit by things like garbage trucks and plumber's vans. Also, on rainy and snowy days, the bus can slide, or you could slip. Then it won't matter whose fault it is.
Second, it isn't illegal for the bus driver to miss you. Drivers do make mistakes. But it shouldn't happen. Call the Transportation office and let them know there has been this confusion.
Third, it is possible that the bus is not yours, or it isn't suppose to stop at that time. I know that's unlikely, but it does happen.
Good luck, and please stand back!

Have your Mom and Dad call the Bus director of your school district and complain.
I assume you are in high school and if that is so, the bus driver should stop at every stop to see if any students are coming up the street. I know that when I was in high school, my bus driver stopped and gave us about 30 seconds because half of us came around a corner.
If that does not fix the problem , have your parents call the superintendent.
Good Luck!

No it is not illegal. But I would have your parents call the bus company and complain. Your driver is not being very observant, and I know that I would not want her driving my kid. I used to teach school bus drivers how to drive, and you ALWAYS slow down when you see children. We always taught our drivers that if there was a student at the stop, you pick them up, even if you knew they were suspended from the bus.

definitely not...... it can never be legal.... its the responsibility of the bus driver to make sure all students have been picked up from their stops in right time..... when the driver s doing things wrong u can surely complain to respective authority.......

report him, it could be that the buss is full, but as a professional drier he should be able to easily defend his actions.
