You'll know when you stop growing when you don't get any taller.Usually the age of 22.

Are you shaving? Are your legs and arms real hairy? Are you starting to put on a lot of muscle mass? This the point you stop growing, you might grow a couple inches after this point, but in general when you start getting hairy and are able to add a lot of muscle mass to your body frame that is an indication you have stopped growing.

I started shaving at age 12 and got hairy arms and legs then. I have not grown an inch since I was 12 years old.

The only way to know if you are going to stop growing for sure is if you go to the doctor and get X-rays to see if the epiphyseal plates of your bones are fused. When this happens you stop growing. But, most people stop growing tall in their late teens. If you are afraid of being short, dont worry about it, if your dad is short, you are probably gonna be short. But, that is not a bad thing, short people have great leverage in sports such as wrestling and powerlifting. Start lifting weights and get jacked.

My father stopped growing early and he was only 5'2", but my brother and I are over six foot. It doesn't matter how early or how tall your father is, it's determined by your genes. My bother and myself got our height genes from our grandfather who was tall.
