I was wondering if anyone could explain this to me. I went for a mammogram a couple of days ago and they found a lymph node IN my left breast!
They Doctor said that it was clear, but I need to go back for another mammogram in 6 months.

Why? Should I be concerned? Serious answers only please, I'm in my 30's!

I don't think I gave enough info...

This lymph node is not under my arm, it is actually in the breast(where I guess it shouldn't be)

Having a clear node is good... yes having to go back for follow ups are very very important don't get yourself worked up over it or start stressing out that puts pressure on your body and immune system ...Don't ever skip any mammograms...

Women who develop lymph nodes have to be under constant surveillance as sometimes these nodes can turn cancerous. Therefore do go to your appointment and see to it that you have your breasts checked regularly.
