a man after my own heart,
I believe that christians dont believe any of the crap they spout, they just use their religion as a cover for racism homophobia, sexism etc. when it suits them, they pull out the religion card.

Look chum christianity is based on a pack of lies.
Their leaders having been committing atrocities for centuries, eg. Ivan the Terrible and Bloody Mary.
Can a leopard change its spots?
No, of course it can't. Luckily we now live in an age where people are better educated than before and where science is showing us the truth of the universe.
There is no place left for christianity except in the dustbin of history where it belongs!
Try reading Richard Dawkins' excellent book The God Delusion. It was the third highest selling book in the world last year and for good reason!

Greed and deception have no boundries. Within the Christian faith and within other faiths and religions, lie those varmits that prey on the innocence of others. It is not acceptable for Christian leaders nor any other leader to lie or steal. Nor is it acceptable for the 'people' to do it either. But it does happen in some churches and many organizations worldwide.

Christianity does not allow lying, stealing, etc. It's a violation of the commandment Jesus gave them to "Love your neighbour as yourself". Unfortunately, as with any religion, some people who follow it tend to use and abuse the system for their own benefit. That is when I don't listen to what the person says, I watch to see how they live their life. To me that is better than anything they say. I've met a lot of people who are more "Christian" than a lot of people who say they are Christians, just because of the way they live their life.
As for me, I am beginning to disassociate from the word "Christianity". I love Jesus, I believe in God, and I try to live my life in a way he would be proud of. I do what I can to help people and love them, but I don't shove my religion down their throats. Number one, because to me, that's not an act of love.
If you have a bible (and not a King James Version, it's like reading Shakespeare), pick Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John, and just look at what Jesus had to say to the religious leaders of his day. In a way, they're not that much different from the religious leaders today.
And they killed him because the way of life he was 'preaching' was too threatening.
I also want to apologize for anyone claiming to be a christian who has hurt you in the past. I know i wasn't the one who did it, but I am sorry that you had to suffer at the hands of someone who claimed to follow Jesus.

my eperience of religion equals hypocrisy and this is the extreame end of things but filters down to grass roots also. Is a great mask to hide behind and make out like you are well intentioned and doing good.
