The young murderer shows no remose spending his time in the prison library day in, day out, reading.

What is wrong with people that they compare a fair trial that gave their son a light conviction to the lynching of black people in the south? She complained that she would only get to see her son a couple times a week when the families of the little girl and driver never get to see their loved one again.

The loved ones of evil people are usually blinded to just how evil they are.
His family should count themselves lucky that he survived the horrific crash that HE CAUSED so that they can at least visit his sorry assz in jail...

I agree with your thoughts. Being under the influence of alcohol cannot be used as an excuse for a light sentence. The driver knew what he was doing when he drank and made the decision not to call a cab.
