Well if you are sure that you have lost your mucus plug( slimy with obvious blood streaks) this usually means birth will happen in the next few days.
You could be dialated for the few remaining weeks but coupled with the loos of the MP i think you are getting close
You could also be feeling a lot of pressure down low because the bub will be well down in your uterus. And the mild pains would be braxton hicks.
Cant tell you how long it will be untill you are finally at the hospital though because everyone is sooo different.
But the combination of your sympyoms means you will have a baby in a few days!!
So while you are waiting ...get lots of sleep. eat lots of carbs and protien for strenght. Spoil your self with long hot baths(may even speed things up!) Go out for a nice meal. And prepare for the wildest ride of your life!!
I wish you great joy and many blessings for this special time in your life!~**~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

If you are not having regular contractions, every 5 minutes or so, more than likely you are having braxton hicks contractions. As far as the pain in the lower region, your body is preparing itself for the delivery! My suggestion is to call your Dr. asap and ask for their advice.

I would call my ob and let him in on how your feeling. Dilating that quickly through the first stages of labor, let him know, or better yet call the hospital, where your to deliver, they will have you probably go in and contact your doc. and they will check, your doc. will then decide if it's to keep you are not.

Good luck and best wishes!
