It is really hard to tell. You can be 3 centimeters for one day or weeks. If you are wanting to start your labor try walking around. Also, do some pelvic rocks. It helps to bring he baby further down the birth canal.

From experience I can tell you that I have been dilated for weeks and I have always been over due everytime. However, when I did go in to labor my children were born within 2-3hrs of making it to the hospital.

If you have not dilated any further by your next appointment ask your doctor to stripe your membranes.

we cant tell you when to go to the hospital. you have to decide that as you know your pain level. your best bet is to call the doctor. your on your way and in early labor. which could last a few days to a few weeks. please ask your doctor this not a random group of strangers

Get to the hospital now and have the doctor check you out.your vagina does not get sore just because you are pregnant.
