Okay, thanks in advance. I have Pokemon Gold for the Game Boy Color, and the game will not save. I go to the save screen, and the game says that it saved the game. However, when I turn the GBC on again, I do not get the "Continue" menu. I must start over every time I turn the game on.

I don't think it's the Game Boy. The game is compatible with the old Game Boys, so I tried it on my Game Boy Pocket (yes, I still have one that works).

Can anybody help me? Do you know what is wrong?
If possible, please provide steps to fix it.

ANY HELP IS WELCOME!

WOAH! You STILL have a working Gold? Well, good going fellow Pokemon fan. I personally like the concept of "out with the old & in with the new", but I don't matter if others disagree. To actually tell you the specific thing to try to help, I cannot, but I can give you some tips to try to fix the situation. If you wanna take it on your own hands, ok by me, but in my shoes I would look for a game technician in your area or look in the Yellow Pages. If you don't think too well about that, try getting another Gold, but ask the salesperson if you can try out the game (I'm sure they can allow it). If nothing really works, I got another way that you can play Gold. Well, i hope you resolve this dilemma & hoping the best for you dude.

PS: Let me know if you are interested into purchasing Diamond & Pearl. Trust me, it's worth ALL your pennies.
