The usa has the same values and culture as the uk we are related to them more than any european country so why not be allied to them. we are suberviant to them just as other countries were subserviant to us 100 years a go (becouse they are the superpower as we were in years gone bye). we need allies and the more powerfull the better. if american culture dies so does ours. They are the last hope for the world as they are the only ones willing to stand up to islam .

Because in WW2 when Britain was under attack from Nazi forces, BEFORE the U.S.A. entered into the World War fray, the American President Smuggled Munitions and supplies through Canada to assist the Peoples of England to Survive.

They probably couldn't have made it if that had Not happened.

Perhaps some of the citizens of your country still feel some sense of gratitude-alliance to the U.S. for that

You certainly don't give Great Britain much credit for being a country on their own do you? Just because they too have the guts to do what is right and not appease until you die, it does not make them subservient.

Really??? I hadn't noticed. However, if YOU really feel that it does, without siding with anyone, I can say that it all comes down to basic high school mentality - if you allow the bully to rule over you, he will until you stand up for yourself.

...going off of what you believe anyways...

It appears you are woefully misguided.

British government does not wish to, nor should it, give up sovereignty to the European Union. When these spineless naysayers come crawling back to the western countries that had the guts to stand up for what's right, I hope our governments deny them aid.

it might be something to do with guilt, when the americans came and fought and died shoulder to shoulder with the british and we became victorious. the british then planned to surrender their country to europe for money and perks in a thing called the e.u.
when they did this they didnt just betray the british they betrayed the aussies canadians and the u.s. and all outher allies who helped us. the british politicians dont go for loyalty or morals or
unity of good purpose, they go for the money, this means they can be bought, and they was.

I believe that the British public are still living in the past and that they watch too many American films portraying them as the good guys. British politicians know it would not be good in the eyes of the public to attack America.
