Benefits: it's nice to heal myself and to talk and help others who are really open to it, it makes me feel better, but it learns me the lessons I need to learn when I need to learn them, it's always by my side.
Disadvantages: there are lots of people who only thing about the money, don't even know what they are talking about but think they are experts, sometimes get mad and behave like 5-year old...

The benefits would be that everything I encounter and seek is a learning experience. I go through life with a profound sense of ignorance and as a result close no doors on any opportunity. This means that I have a deep respect for other's opinions and beliefs and can entertain empathetically that which I might not agree with or understand and yet not have to accept. That truth, itself, is the ultimate but unobtainable goal. I'll never be done or complacent with what I've already learned. I'd like to think that most people I encounter can benefit from my easygoing, understanding, empathetic, positive, compassionate, nature. The downside?; ?

I know that Spirit is with me always and is in all things. That is a benefit. I can't think of any disadvantages. If you live an honest life, then it's all good!

Could you clarify your question, please? Are you asking what the benefits and disadvantages of any person having any belief system, or are you asking us, as individuals, to tell you about our own belief systems?
