I know you're just having a chuckle, but I have something to say about Wenger and all the controversy he has raised this past week. When did the FA become the thought and free speech police. I thought the reason we're in Iraq and Afghanistan, was so we could protect our right to free speech, and now the FA are talking sanctions against Wenger? I'm no Gooner fan, but Wenger has a point, and he should be allowed to make that point without having to demonstrate that right to a sports association. The FA have lately gone well beyond their duties, of administering the league. It seems, that the league officials are just as susceptible to jealousy and envy as the next bloke, Wenger is a successful manager by any standard, but the backlash he receives from the authorities is plain for all to see, and to treat him or anyone else with such disrespect, is wrong. Linesmen make mistakes, but it seems they remain unaccountable for those mistakes. I don't want them or any official to be abused, nor do I want managers who disagree with on field decisions to face censure. We have loads of excellent technology that could alleviate all this nonsense, yet for some reason it remains unused. I had more to say, but I grew bored, and I'm over the whole Wenger thing now.
