you need to find a disc called (epson remeter)
ive got it ,it makes it like new ,but you need to get
some old ink out of the tank I do this by switching the printer on
then when the print head moves over to the left pull out the power cable you can then see a square box with a bit of
sponge in it, just soak up some old ink out of there with some tissue. hope this helps,PS you may get the disc from a computer

lThe simple answer from me is "Well I don't know how to reset the waste ink counters on any printer - BUT are you sure that there are counters?
When I tackled Canon on this very question they avoided answering; when I asked whether there were, in fact, counters they refused to confirm or to deny the existence of counters. When I made enquiries of friends and professionals I was told that there was no waste ink tank as such (my Canon printer had warned me that the waste ink tank was full and that I should return the printer to get it emptied or risk uncontrolable spillage).
Someone had taken his printer apart and discovered that the waste ink tank consisted of a few layers of paper (blotting and other types of) stuck inside the bottom casing of the printer. This "tank" was saturated and could absorb no more waste ink.
When I asked about the cost of sorting out the "tank" it came to just under the cost of buying a new (and more recent) Canon printer because postage each way and the work to be done by the 'technician' (replacing the absorbant strips of ink saturated paper etc.) - which obviously is a job for a specialist with a glue pot - and insuring the whole excercise does not come cheap.
I bought a new printer.
Canon refused to give any helpful information on "health & safety grounds".
Is Epson in the same league?
