Actually I think this is a fabulous idea! I mean if he knows nothing about this he will definitely bolt! He will be furious! I mean I, like the one lady who gave you advice, think that 2 weeks is plenty of time to get hitched. That is unless you were giving him everything that one could receive while being married. Why get married when you can raid the cookie jar and still get away clean? This will be a do or die answer to him! He will either help or you will never hear from him again. And in the military one can stay lost for years!

I have a feeling you're going to have to wait for him to come home to get married or people would do creepy stuff like that all the time. I wouldn't want someone to have the power to marry me if I'm not there and what kind of wedding would that be anyway to remember? Is this purely for finantial reasons? R&R is usually 2 weeks. YOu didn't have one day to marry in the 2 weeks he was home? Hey, I wish you two all the luck in teh world and he comes home safely anyway.

You need to look up your state marriage regulations and requirements. I live in SC, and one of the law requirements is that BOTH parties must be present. WHat is the rush on getting married??Are you pregnant or something? You will more than likely have to wait until he's home. My husband is in the USAF, so I understand where you are coming from. GL!
