Why do u have to be invited? I just went to Google and typed in Gmail and it came up and I set up a gmail account but, if you want me to invite u I can do that too.

you don't need to be invited to have an gmail anymore. it's now free to the public.

Google is dropping that requirement and you can sign up for one without an invitation.
