strange question.
Give it back and get another one? Or else put up with the smell - there is *nothing* you can do to get rid of smoke-smell... I wouldn't try spraying it with smelly things cause you'll just end up with an even worse smell! (or smoke and something) ... You could fan it but i think it's a little futile - sorry!

sounds like a reliable theory... may be severe priced inspite of the truth that, and those who smoke does no longer be content fabric with a restricted furnish of books. perhaps you ought to signify this to a community baby-kisser or write a letter to someone. i imagine it may be very confusing to save those who smoke from utilizing library books. on the basis of it, is that easily everyone could be respectful of library books (do not placed gum contained in the pages, rip off corners, go away stains, write interior books), and those who smoke ain't an exception. i detect those who smoke typically thoughtless, and perhaps they ought to could pay for the books they smash. this type others do not could added pay for his or her undesirable habit (like they do for the healthcare equipment, ecosystem ruined, trash and cigarette butts left in the back of).
