I don't like being that rude... but I can "show" that I've had (heard) enough depending on the situation... like finding an excuse to walk away where the reason becomes obvious, or giving a hard look, or putting a bored blank expression on my face, or with a subtle sigh.... ;)

I consider it rude, I dont tell people to "shut up" I will tell them to "pease be quiet" or "listen" though

It is rude! I was raised by my Grandmother, she always told me to "ask people to be quite" never to tell anyone to shut up.

I personally consider it rude. However, I might "shoosh" the person in fun if they are talking nonstop. : ) I actually consider talking over someone even more rude.
