Why does the country NOT need 50 state capitals and any other DUPLICATION OF SERVICES or STAFFS???

The sturcture of the US government is written into the Constitution. It would take a rewriting via a constitutional convention. It isn't going to happen.
Who is to say that the "duplication" of services and state staffs are not needed?
Our governments are disfunctional, now. If one person were governor of the US, he could not function at all. He would be overloaded with messages of people trying to contact him.

Originally, the federal government was only suppose to coordinate the efforts of the states, primarily in law and military. Today, the federal government is a bloated fat pig crushing the states ability to govern itself.

We should reduce the size of the federal government and return things state-side.
