Basically an influential person was sent to my attorney to pressure him.

i don't know what you mean by this exactly. But if your attorney screwed up, call the local bar association. If someone lied on the stand, you can ask the prosecutor to pursue perjury charges. If someone lied about you in general, you can sue them for libel or slander (depending if it is spoken or written)

Based upon your comment that your lawyer was pressured, I would go immediately to the bar association and make a complaint. I would also immediately hire a new lawyer.

If you have not gone to trial or entered settlement/plea, do not do so until you have a new lawyer. If you have done so, ask a new lawyer to file something to ask the judge to re-open the case, b/c you/your atty. made the entry under duress.
