Both Rama and Bhisma are correct. But Rama was the first and so he gets the credit.
While returning from Videha(home town of Sita) after marriage, Parasurama challenges him. But Rama doesnot accept this because Parasurama was a Brahmin.(It is a rule that Kshatriyaas shud not kill Brahmins.) So Rama asks him to put forward his bow and arrow( it was Lord Vishnu's ,unlike the bow Rama broke on the Swayamvara which was Lord Shiva's.) which could never be broken.Rama broke this with a mere arrow and won Parasurama.

"AUM" is perfectly correct - Amba, Ambika and Ambalika the three sisters the daughter of King of Kashi who were the wives of Vichitravirya, King of Hastinapur. Bhishma captured them at their Swayamvara and abducted them. First Amba wanted to marry Bhishma but he refused her due to the GREAT VOW to his father he made and refused to marry her and insulted her. When Bhisma insulted her she went to Parasurama and complained and there was a great fight between Bhishma and Parasurama in which the great Parasurama was defeated.
