Cover with brown paper and then apply a cool iron, gradually increasing the heat until it is just warm enough to melt the wax which will then soak into the paper et voila!

You get a brown paper bag and lay it on the carpet then, you heat up a clothes iron and lay it on the brown paper bag.
The Candle wax will absorb into the brown paper bag.
Make sure that you keep an eye on it, you don't want it getting too hot and burn the fibers in the carpet it self.
When the wax is all gooey, you can use a scrub brush to lift the wax up away from the padding.
Then you can do the process again to get the excess wax to absorb into another brown paper bag.
( Repeat as necessary.)

Thought my mam was gonna kill me when I tipped candle wax on our 2 day old carpet! It was easy to get up though! Heat your iron to the wool setting and then turn off. Use the iron over some kitchen roll on the wax stain. The iron will melt the wax and the kitchen roll will absorb it up! Simple! Brown paper works as well, but I think kitchen roll is better! Good luck!

scrape off what you can then put some brown paper on top of it and iron over the paper, the wax should melt and the paper soak it up. You might want to test the iron on the carpet in an inconspicuous area first just incase its going to melt your carpet! Good luck!

Brown paper. Heat your iron and gently iron the paper over the candle wax. It will melt and you should be able to lift the gunge with a palate knife. Wipe over with a warm cloth with washing up liquid on. Keep repeating the above until clear.

Either brown paper or paper kitchen towel and a warm iron. Keep moving the paper to a new spot. It will all be absorbed.
