i would like to know from a spiritual standpoint and also from the new generations stand point.

This is an irrelevant question. All I mean by that is that these roles are different for everyone.
In a traditional old school relationship, the mans role is to protect and provider for the family while the women role is to cares for the family and home. 50-50 Both very tough roles.
In a spiritual way if your catholic it is to reproduce and have Gods children and teach them of God so that when they grow up they too can do the same.
From a modern prospective both men and woman have become very and I mean very selfish these days. We think that we deserve everything, and that we can always get our way.
From my prospective and my buddies we are not only providing and protecting but also doing all the cooking, cleaning, and taking care of the kids most of the day. I teach all day and get out early enough so that I may pick up the kids and that cool but I do all the cleaning and I typically have dinner waiting for the wife when she gets home. Which by the ways, she is so tired she doesn’t want to do anything because she had to work all day. It seems to be the norm for most of the guys I know that are married. I like to think of myself as old school because I believe in doing everything for the family. I'm 41, educated, hard working and a Loving father and husband. I like to think of myself as a REAL MAN.
Love is about sacrifice both man and women will have to give in on many things. Things you really love. You have to understand that Love is not about things ultimately, it's about having your Best Friend as a partner in life and doing all the new things that makes you both happy. This can be very hard to fine in today’s world, but, I believe it is still out there. So, I hope my answer was helpful. Good Luck and God Bless.

From a spiritual stand point, to be an energizing and supportive force for each other. In spirituality we are not separate nor are we better than any other, we are all equals in the sight of Spirit. Spirit wants us to be happy and fulfilled in our lives. Spirit knows that each couple must decide by their wants and needs what kind of relationship we are to have together. No two people are the same so no two rules for a relationship are going to fit every couple. If true love is involved then you will figure it out but do not get stuck by what society says is right or wrong for relationships b/c our world is ever changing and what is set in Stone today may not be tomorrow.

A males role is to be the sturdy rock, who keeps the girls happy (not w/ items, with his love). Personaly, I think that they have 2 make all of the moves, because most girls are rlly shy. Guys gotta protect the girls from harm, and make sure that they are always feeling well.
A girls role, is to keep the sensitivity in the relationship, and make sure that the guy is feeling ok. They have to make love romantic, and they have to be honest, and everybody shouldn't cheat. Girls can find out about that stuff easier than guys (i think) so guys especially shouldn't cheat. Girls should always be happy, no matter what, and make sure that they are sharing all the work with this guys.

A man's role in a relationship is to bow down to their woman and never talk back. A womans role is to never have sex and and make their husband,s life as miserable as possible. Might consider becoming a hermit or ho dog.

The males role is produce sperm. The females role is to extract the sperm from the male. The role of both is to reproduce. There are no other physical reasons for existing.

i dont think that there is a role for a man or woman.there is nothing that cannot be done by either the man or woman.from the spiritual aspect,a man is supposed to love a woman and be her provider, protector and priest.the woman is supposed to submit to the man and also love him.

It should really be the same: love and respect for each other. Who does the laundry really doesn't matter as long as it gets done and you're both happy.

there are no absolute roles . every couple is different. it takes work, and hearing the other person. it's what WORK'S for the two...
