I'm having problems with windows movie maker?

Okay, I've tried saving this one movie I made and it's only about a minute long. When I click "save to my computer" it says "estimated time remaining" and it starts at 12 minutes then grows steadily up (I once got to four hundred minutes until I gave up). What's the deal? I haven't had any trouble with saving my files before

Sounds like something might have gotten corrupt.
When was the last time you re booted?
When was the last time you did a defrag?

If you have to shut it all down you will have only lost a 1 minute movie...

Go back to your last save and see if you can pre render..

You might have to start over...
