Is it said the same way as Isaiah? or is it a different name altogether? My husband thinks it might just be a Hispanic spelling for Isaiah.

I didn't realize it was spelled different until I looked at it closer - I'll bet a lot of people will do that and will think it's Isaiah. Isiah - I guess it should be pronounced, eye-seye-uh

I think it's pronounced the same. I prefer the spelling Isaiah though. Good luck!

I would pronounce it eyezeeah from what it looks like. If you are going for the traditional spelling Isaiah you'd be better off. The first one will only confuse people.

It would not pronounce like Isaiah. I-say-ah (I-sai-ah) because it is missing an "a" to create the "ay" sound in the middle. I-see-ah or Is-eye-ah would be my guess. It looks like just somebody miss spelling Isaiah though to me.

Your husband might be right. If I saw it I would pronounce it Ay-zi-ya.

I'm not sure. I would get a baby book or wait until you get to the hospital and look in theirs (it's cheaper).
