I'd say yeah, it's significant. The Iranians want to know if Bush is nuts enough to attack them, so they went and asked Bush's owners if they were going to allow Bush to invade their country. The Saudis keep Bush on a loose leash nowadays, and people around the world are getting nervous.

It is significant that it hasn't happened in many years. But, I'm afraid it is another stall tactic. Russia worries me more now than Iran.
