often it is a pinched nerve in either neck or wrist. Seeing a physician would help.

I had something similar to this a few years back. I was diagnosed with Ulnaneuritous. The ulna nerve was pinched in the elbow.
it was just my pinky finger along with the outside of my ring finger and the heal of my hand. They did surgery (2003) I have yet to get all the feeling back, but it is coming back slowly. The doc said there was a lot of nerve damage so it will take some time for the nerve to heal. I don't know if this is the same as your case though. get a Dr's appointment.

Could be due to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS). Water retention or weight gain can also cause. Too much of computer use or writing etc. can cause problems. See a doctor and take the advice. B12 vitamin tables and injections help. Alternate tratement options ike homeopathy can give good results. Surgery may be needed if other options fail.
