I love Beta's they are the most active fish you can own.
When we were kids Myself and my 5 brothers all had one and we would get together in our basement and fight them to see who's fish was tougher. Some of our friends went and got Beta's too, just so they can join us.
My brother Ricky raised the toughest Beta's I have ever seen.
And please no one tell me we were cruel, we were little kids having fun with our fish, we really didn't know any better at the time

Betas are cool...but kind of boring unless you have a few [separated] in a tank/bowl near each other.

They don't need large space. You can breed them in the small fish bowls !!!
