Since Medusa was cursed by the Gods to have snakes for hair?

Did they ever bite her at all? Seems like it would be hard to avoid at some point.

As you said Medusa was cursed by the Gods, the snakes replaced her hair the snakes were a part of her not just something added on.

No they don't bite her. She kills other people, not with the snakes though.
