I just received the most shocking phone call ever in my life this morning from my sister. She told me that my cousin (best buddy) met with an accident which he is hit by a van on his way down the hill, just infront of his house. The van hit and dragged him up the hill!
I could not imagine how is him being dragged under a moving vehicle up a hill. And the worse thing is the driver is under the influence of alcohol! He's drunk!.My friends saw the incident said the driver didnt even tried to stop his vehicle but keep on hitting the gas.
Now i have lost a buddy that always be there when im in trouble,a buddy that always bring laughter everytime im in bad mood,a cousin that is concerned more about you rather than himself,a cousin that gives everything that he has just to help you,a cousin that alway greets you every morning, shows smile to you no matter he's in bad mood or frustrated and the most important one is he's the one that loves every single person that he met.
Why him?

This made me realised that life is just too short for everthing. Its like a dream. The next thing you know is it's already in the morning and the nice-sweat dream of last night is over.Everything just gone without you even know about it.Adding to the worse part, i dont have my chance to pay my last respect to him because im in university and soon will sitting for my exam.I just cannot concentrate on my study. Now, no one will conform me like the way he always did to me.No more fun talk about girls,no more games together and there's no more left.He took everything with him, leaving me alone in this cruel world.I just cant take it anymore.
Why must him? He's only 18 years old.

Sorry about your cousin. It is never when you lose someone that you love. Especially a family member. And it is especially hard when you lose someone in an accident or event that could have been prevented.
There is a woman was a secretary in a hotel here, she lost all 4 children to drunk drivers, all on seperate occasions. You may wonder why I tell you this. Well, because. I just want to let you know that you are not alone in your greif. And as lonely as you feel right now, I am sure that there are others tht are feeling just as lonely right now about your cousin.
Telling great stories about the victim helps. I am very sorry that happened to your cousin. I know that you are horrified. I lost my brother to murder 3 years ago. Sudden loss is never easy. Loss period is never easy. Lots of hugs your way .

First off may I offer my most sincere condolences to you, the loss of your cousin and best friend is huge, you were blessed to have had him and I am sorry for this tragic needless loss.
A drunk driver how disgusting and self centered of that looser to be driving, they will be dealt with through the court system and hopefully you will find forgiveness in your heart.
We are all here on this earth for a time which the length of such we do not know. We meet people for a reason a season or a lifetime we have no control over the moment that those we love are taken away from us or we are taken from them.
Yours is not to ask why or how nor will you ever be able to understand why. Yours is to forgive, and always hold close to your heart the wonderful years you had together. Be thankful for those you love and cherished for as long as you were allowed to love and cherish them. They were a gift to you and your life, not promised for ever.
Grief must be felt and dealt with in order to move forward in spirit and to grow and become a fully compassionate and loving person.
I wish you the best and may you find peace in your journey of understanding and acceptance.

My condolences to you and your family. My stepdad died of a heart attack last week at 51. It is such a shock in these situations, when you lose someone you love so suddenly. All you can do is grieve in your own way and honour your cousin in your own way. Remember your times with him, and that we never really know how long we have with those we love. Losing my stepdad has reminded me to spend more time with the family I have left. It always feels so unfair. Right now I am angry at the world. Allow yourself to go through the grieving process, there are many stages and it is not pleasant, but hopefully at the end we come through stronger people for it. I wish you the best of luck, and big hugs to you.

Why anyone? there's no answer to the question, it's just something that happens. Everyone's lost someone by one way or another, some more terrible than others. The important thing is you remember them, your good and bad memories together, and although it's so tough, specially when you've just lost someone, but as time goes by, i hope when you do remember him, you remember him with a smile, cause that's what he brought into your life.

My deepest condolesences to you and your family. I know it is unfair. I know that you know that he didnt deserve it. Death happened to people we love the most. The people that affect our lives the most and when they are gone we feel lost. I believe god has a divine plan for all of us, I am not trying to lecture you but i believe that from the day we are born, we were born for a purpose. Your cousin fulfilled God's purpose. Again I am so sorry for your lost.

My cousin died a year or two ago, he choked, something wrapped around his neck. He was the only person I knew with almost the exact same interests as me.
You never think things like death will happen to you, but anything can happen.

There are some things we will never understand in this life, we just have to keep going until our time comes. Try to think about what your cousin would want you to do.
