My laptop was dead totally, I pulled it apart then put it back together and to my shock it now works!!! I managed to reset the bios in the process and now my touch pad will not work. Anyone any ideas?

If the driver is installed, it might be you need to go into the control panel and reset the touchpad to default settings, or config to your likings.

Also, check your Device Manager to ensure it's not disabled.

My touchpad wasn't working, and it was simply disabled.

If you still have problems, run http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
to see what it finds.

sounds like a driver problem, go to the manufacturers website and downlad and install the driver.
Use a mouse to get there, it will be reconised by windows without drivers.
