Logic spells out level-headed to some people but there are so many things out there that happen & cant have a so called logical explanation. The soul is a substance that fills our material bodies such that we become the individuals we are. How did the soul come to existence? Its simple we advanced science to understand the unknown but didnt our Creator devise our minds for that & yet didnt the All Mighty create us before hand & endowed us with souls? Our souls are trusts that are destined to return to the All Mighty upon death. No one has ever crossed the divide & came back to fill us in with details. Yet I can say the true miracle of the fact that the soul is what makes us human beings is only witnessed when one watches another as he dies feeling how the muscles respond as the soul gradually leaves the different parts of that person's body. As the soul leaves a body part, it lays there cold, lifeless , & even dangling. I mean we all knw that bones give the body support for its flesh & the nerves n muscles keep the body poise & all together but didnt it ever occur to any1 that being human is about the warmth which the soul generates? I believe the soul is the reason why we can define animate & life.

In the same way that your question debased the subject of the soul for some and not for others.
Everything which exists is made up of energy of specific vibrations. This includes thoughts and feelings. The tricky part is to be aware of the subject of the thought or feeling. Words do not reflect the same energy by all people at all times. For example if a non believer in the existence of the soul reads your question, a different feeling or emotion will result than if a believer reads it. The effect is that two separate thought-feelings are generated and they would not be called the subject-SOUL but maybe the subject-RIDICULE and the subject-VENERATION and away these two differently vibrating bits of energy would fly off to gather together with bits of the same stuff. This is the basis of the law of attraction. This is a simplification in order to be able to discuss this without writing volumes on the subject of subjects. Remember that energy cannot be created or destroyed; we might say that it can only be molded. In the end we can also say that soul is energy which also makes us human beings and vice-versa.

Yes I agree that the soul exists. I do not see it as a part of the physical reality except for the fact that you can see the results of its existence within the physical.
The soul came into existence because the supreme or first being chose to divide or see its self as multiple or seemingly separate entities.
This separation is not actually real but for the purposes of interacting in what appears to be the material reality it is useful to see it that way.
The soul is not debased by the body. The body is no more than a temporary limitation on the spirit/soul that falls away when it is no longer useful. The soul continues exactly as it was before the limitation of the body was placed on it.

Many questions were asked in the ancient Hindu texts
about the nature of Parama Atama (super soul or
infinite soul) and Atma (soul). In the olden days,
Gurus used to put these questions to disciples to test
their knowledge.
What is the constituent material of Parama Atama? All
materials are subject to decay and annihilation, Parama
Atama is above the influence of decay and annihilation.
Then is Parama Atama a void? In terms of material
characteristics, Parama Atama is void (Soonya).
The substance it contains is incorporeal.
Can this lead to the logic that Parama Atama is not
there? No. Parama Atama is there. He is consciousness,
the infinite consciousness. The Atma which is piece of
Parama Atama, according to Advaita Vedanta, is personal
consciousness.
Since Atma is only a minute piece of Paramatma, is it
subjected to annihilation? No. Atma is also eternal.
Why did Paramatma create souls? The higher the increase
in your wisdom, the higher the meaning that you realize.
How can the finite understand the purpose intended
by the infinite?

the human being is the sum of itself.
It is the complex accumulation of an evolving entity.
The brain is a continuous system of electrical impulses that are confined to the structure of the brain and as mortal as any other part of you.
The electrical activity is the result of a corporeal relationship that relies on each other for existence.
