No, because that would be ridiculous. Anyone with half a brain would know that looking at anything doesn't damage your sight, and neither does thinking about what you are doing, and in this case participating in Y&A is supposed to involve thinking, as you read, ask a question, or respond to one.
Of course, I did say that's what's supposed to be going on in that person's brain, but the other thing most of us know by this time is that there are some Y&A'ers who clearly have less than half a brain. LOL.

And that using binoculars is even worse.
So, I tricked them.
I looked at the sun through the wrong end of the binoculars.
